Earlier this month, Huawei launched the Mate XT Ultimate Design, the world’s first triple-screen foldable phone, marking a significant milestone in smartphone innovation. Now, luxury device maker Caviar has taken this high-tech device to a new level of opulence with its exclusive custom collection, featuring 24-karat gold versions of the Mate XT Ultimate Design. The collection includes two striking models: the Black Dragon and the Gold Dragon, each available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.

Caviar’s Luxurious Pricing for the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design

The custom Caviar versions come with a hefty price tag. The Black Dragon edition is priced at $12,770 (approximately Rs. 1,069,000) for the 256GB model, $13,200 (approximately Rs. 1,106,000) for the 512GB version, and $13,630 (approximately Rs. 1,141,000) for the 1TB variant. Meanwhile, the Gold Dragon model is even more expensive, starting at $14,500 (approximately Rs. 1,214,700) for the 256GB model, $14,930 (approximately Rs. 1,250,808) for the 512GB version, and topping out at $15,360 (approximately Rs. 1,286,900) for the 1TB option.

Each of these limited-edition models will be available in just 88 units, ensuring exclusivity for collectors and luxury tech enthusiasts.

Design Details: Black Dragon vs. Gold Dragon

Caviar’s customizations go beyond just increasing storage options. The Black Dragon model is wrapped in luxurious black alligator leather and features gold-plated inserts, creating a blend of high-end materials and craftsmanship. On the other hand, the Gold Dragon model is adorned with 24K gold and boasts intricate engravings inspired by the ancient Chinese art of multi-layer forging, as seen in the creation of Longquan swords, giving it a historical and cultural allure.

At its core, the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design is powered by the octa-core Kirin 9010 chipset, which provides the necessary processing power to handle its unique triple-screen setup. The foldable phone runs on HarmonyOS 4.2 and features a 10.2-inch flexible LTPO OLED main display. When folded once, the screen reduces to a 7.9-inch display, and with a second fold, it becomes a compact 6.4-inch screen. In China, the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design starts at CNY 19,999 (approximately Rs. 237,000) for the base model with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Globally, Huawei plans to launch the Mate XT Ultimate Design in Q1 of next year, expanding the reach of this triple-screen marvel.
